Breakfast at Kosbor is more than just a meal – it is the first, defining experience of the day. A slow awakening in a garden full of birdsong, where calm and the rhythm of nature set the pace for the morning. On our laid table, the scent of freshly baked bread and pastries mingles with homemade jams, spreads and butters, kalács (Hungarian sweet braided bread) and brioche.

We source quality ingredients for our breakfast dishes from local and regional producers – every bite carries the flavours of the Őrség. The menu often features special dishes too, such as shakshuka, eggs Benedict or a classic oeufs en cocotte. In autumn, a mushroom omelette or American pancakes frequently make an appearance to add even more variety.

Fragrant, freshly ground coffee, quality loose-leaf teas and locally made fruit juices accompany breakfast – whether our guests enjoy it out on the veranda or in the sunny dining room.
