Check-in is between 3 pm and 9 pm, and check-out between 9 am and 11 am. If you are arriving after 9 pm, please let the guesthouse know. After 10 pm only our telephone on-call service is available, on +36 30 952 2478.

Yes, subject to availability, by prior arrangement and for an additional charge.

A photo ID: identity card, card-format driving licence or passport. We cannot provide accommodation without a valid document.

400 Ft per person per night for guests aged 18 and over. It is not included in the room rate and is payable on site.

Cash (Hungarian forints and euros), Visa and Mastercard bank cards, OTP, MBH and K&H SZÉP cards (Hungarian employee leisure cards), and mobile payment apps. All services except the tourist tax can be paid for with a SZÉP card.

For some rates, yes. We will tell you the amount, the deadline and the payment method when you book; the remaining balance is settled at check-out.

Yes, Kosbor has been dog-friendly since it opened. We welcome vaccinated, house-trained, well-groomed and well-socialised dogs for an additional charge, both in the rooms and in the restaurant. Find out more on our Dog-friendly page.

4,500 Ft per night per room. There is no extra charge with our Weekdays with your dog package.

A dog bed, a bowl, a blanket, a towel, biodegradable poo bags and a little surprise.

Yes, a seasoning-free dog menu made from fresh meat, vegetables and grains, plus home-made dog biscuits, which you can order at reception.

Outside the room, in the car park and on the access road, dogs must be kept on a lead. Please do not bath your dog in the shower or bathtub. Dogs may rest on the bed on the blanket provided. If your dog will be left alone in the room, please let us know.

Only for as long as it does not disturb other guests by barking. If you are visiting somewhere dogs are not allowed, your dog can stay with us in a room kennel.

Yes, a friendly, neutered dog that lives in a fenced-off area. If you would prefer your dog not to meet ours, just let reception know.

It is a deliberate choice, for environmental and health reasons. Instead we have thick walls, double insulation, heat-recovery ventilation in every room, heat-reflective window film, shading, fans and cool Őrség nights. Read more on our blog (in Hungarian).

In Magyarszombatfa, on a 3.5-hectare estate on the edge of the Őrség National Park, close to the Slovenian and Austrian borders.
